My.kve is an independent Android application (dev.mobile.sd@gmail.com). The app is a private, offline menstrual cycle tracker designed for Jewish women who observe the laws of taharat hamishpacha (family purity).
My.kve does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. The app has no internet connection, no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no backend servers. All data you enter stays on your device, inside the app's private storage, and never leaves it.
The following information is stored locally on your device using SQLite and Android's standard app storage (only accessible to this app):
This data is automatically deleted if you uninstall the app. In-app purchase history is retained by Google Play independently and can be restored via your Google account.
My.kve may request access to your device location. This permission is used only to calculate local astronomical times (sunset, nightfall, sunrise) for displaying halachic time windows in the app. Your coordinates are stored locally in the app's settings database and are never transmitted to any server or third party.
You may also enter your city manually without granting location permission. Location access can be revoked at any time via Android Settings → Apps → My.kve → Permissions.
My.kve offers optional in-app purchases (a lifetime licence and an annual subscription) processed through Google Play Billing. All payment processing is handled entirely by Google. We do not receive, store, or process any payment card details or financial information. Google's handling of your payment data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
To verify purchase status and prevent fraud, Google Play may share a purchase token with the app at the time of purchase. This token is stored locally on your device only and is not transmitted anywhere by My.kve.
My.kve does not include any advertising SDKs, analytics libraries, crash-reporting services that transmit data externally, social media integrations, or any other third-party services that collect user data. The app has no internet permission except for the connection required by Google Play Billing to verify purchases.
My.kve is intended for adult women (18 years and older). The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
All app data is stored in Android's private app storage, which is inaccessible to other apps without root access. An optional PIN lock is available for additional privacy. PIN codes are never stored — only a salted SHA-256 hash is kept.
Because no data is collected by us or transmitted anywhere, there is no personal data held by the developer to access, correct, or delete. All your data resides on your own device. To delete all app data, uninstall My.kve from your device (Android Settings → Apps → My.kve → Uninstall) or use "Settings → Clear App Data" within Android.
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the effective date at the top and note the change in the app's release notes on Google Play. Continued use of the app after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
